Q. What would be the estimated savings for the generation services charge compared to my current bill?
A. The savings are relative to customer’s current supplier rate and usage amounts but currently are between 10% and 20%.
Q. When I switch suppliers is there a disruption of power?
A. None whatsoever.
Q. Is your price fixed or does it vary?
A. The Positive Energy VPROGRAM is a variable price that fluctuates relative to market conditions and is available to both residential and commercial customers.
Fixed rate programs are available for commercial users.
Q. Will CL&P or UI be upset if I choose an electric supplier?
A. No. CL&P and UI encourage their customers to choose an electric supplier to help lower energy costs.
Q. Can an electric supplier shut off my electricity?
A. No. Only CL&P or UI can shut off your electric service.

A. The Positive Energy VPROGRAM has no contract. No strings attached.
Q. Are there start-up fees?
A. Free Enrollment. No start up fee, No enrollment fee or cancellation fees. No hidden fees whatsoever.
Q. Do I pay Positive Energy every month?
A. No. You will continue to be billed and pay your utility (CL&P or UI).
